Introduction

Çankırı Karatekin University International Relations Department was established in 2008 and accepted the first undergraduate students in the 2009-2010 academic year and continues its education at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Our department, which continues its education with the departments of EU Law, Law of Nations, Political History, and International Politics, has 11 academic staff, including 2 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 4 Assistant Professors and 3 Research Assistants.

Department’s main aim is to enable students to have basic knowledge of the discipline of International Relations and to develop themselves and to follow the changing discipline with the transforming world conditions.

The undergraduate education period of the Department of International Relations is four (4) years, i.e. eight (8) semesters. The department does not have a secondary education program. In the undergraduate program, there is an optional foreign language preparatory class for one (1) year. In addition to the undergraduate program, there are thesis and non-thesis master`s programs in the Department of International Relations under the Social Sciences Institute.

The Department of International Relations is in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Fatih Mahallesi Uluyazı Campus in the city center of Çankırı. Transportation to the campus is carried out regularly by public transportation vehicles of Çankırı Municipality. There is direct access to the campus from the city center and student dormitories.
