Assistant Professor Firdes Şeyda Kahraman served as a jury member and delivered an academic presentation at the Crimean Dr. Aziz Bey Humanitarian Law Competition Turkey Edition, held between September 8-11, 2025. During the event on September 10-11, 2025, Dr. Firdes Şeyda Kahraman delivered an important presentation titled “Protection of Cultural Property in the Law of Armed Conflict” and contributed to the development of the next generation of experts in the field by evaluating the competing teams. Organized in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent and the Istanbul Center for International Law (ICIL), this prestigious competition and summer school, held in both English and Turkish, is one of the most comprehensive events in the field of international humanitarian law.
